Founded in 1971, SOFREL is now France’s leading provider of telemetry solutions for water networks, with a presence in the energy and construction sectors as well. AREAL develops Topkapi, an SCADA software widely used in the water sector. Their partnership is based on a shared commitment: to facilitate the use of field data, ensure the reliability of data exchanges, and anticipate the needs of end users.

From the outset, compatibility between SOFREL equipment – Cellbox, S10, S15, S50, S550, S500, S4W, etc. – and the Topkapi supervisor was a natural fit. Thanks to the native development of the Sofbus and Lacbus protocols within Topkapi, AREAL guarantees direct integration, without intermediaries, offering ease of configuration, robustness and rapid deployment.

- comprehensive and integrated handling of alarms, remote commands, historical data, status reports and calls (incoming or outgoing); this avoids complex communication layers (such as OPC) and simplifies implementation
