Mobility for Topkapi users
With Topkapi AppView, AREAL offers a dedicated mobile application that allows users to view Topkapi supervision applications directly on their smartphone, anywhere and at any time.
Designed for anyone who needs to consult their supervision applications via smartphone, the Topkapi AppView client allows you to:
- Receive and view on-call notifications
- Perform diagnostics by viewing current data statuses, alarms, curves or histories,
- Control installations remotely using remote controls.
Focus on three use cases
- Extended remote alarm management: When a remote alarm notification is received, the agent can immediately view the alarm details and access the context of the alarm using perimeter navigation*. They can then view information related to the alarm (other alarms in the same perimeter, associated graphs, etc.) to determine whether human intervention is required to resolve the problem or not.
- Remote diagnostics: Imagine a wastewater treatment plant manager faced with an abnormally low water volume after a storm. Thanks to Topkapi AppView, their counterpart in charge of pumping stations can quickly identify a specific fault and view critical levels on the structures from their smartphone, without having to be at their supervision station.
- Verifying consistency between field data and supervision data: When equipment is added to the supervision application, the related data is automatically and immediately available in the Topkapi AppView mobile application. Technicians can thus verify the consistency between the supervision information and the field information and interact (remote control) with the equipment.

4 concrete advantages of Topkapi AppView
The Topkapi AppView application has several advantages:
- No restrictions on simultaneous connections: once the options are activated on Topkapi, the application can be used by as many agents as necessary.
- Easy to deploy without prohibitive costs: no specific development required, Topkapi AppView relies on the settings of the existing Topkapi supervision application. Its implementation via a web configurator allows you to define the information (data, alarms, curves, etc.) that can be viewed and the ergonomics of consultation (perimeters).
- Available on app stores: available on Android and iOS.
- Integrated security: "secure by design" architecture (security has been integrated from the outset) with the option of certificate encryption and password-protected application locking.
Please note: for on-call requirements, Topkapi AppView eliminates the need for a GSM modem to send SMS messages, thereby eliminating the risk of breakdowns associated with this equipment.
